2Aidhmeanna Chairde Mológa/What are the aims of Cairde Mologa?
In conjunction with the management, principal and staff of Scoil Mologa, the aims of Cairde Mologa are:
a) To promote education through Irish language and culture.
b) To support parents in their role as partners in the education of their children.
c) To develop and enhance the learning and social aspects of school for all children.

Cairde Mológa supports the educational and social development of the school and the children through activities such as:
1) Welcoming new parents and providing an on-going link between parents and school management regarding relevant general issues.
2) Organising social events for parents.
3) Providing opportunities for parents to use, and to improve, their Irish.
4) Organising social events for students - Communion party, Pancake Tuesday, Slán le Rang a Sé etc.
5) Raising money for extra facilities, equipment and programmes for the school.
6) Organising relevant talks and lectures.
7) Providing extra-curricular classes for students.
8) Keeping parents and students informed about school activities and achievements by newsletter and website.

The AGM is held in November in the school. New members are always very welcome to join at any time.
Besides the Cairde committee members, there are many other parents involved with activities such as the newsletter, uniform sales and Friday morning classes.
So you can get involved either at the committee level or with one of these groups. Don’t be shy
